Kemi Sofa

Kemi embodies the natural forms of an iceberg, gazing upon the arctic landscapes. The minimalistic forms of Kemi were imagined to beautifully feature one of the Painting Series created by the Bali-based artist Ewa Matyja, a series inspired by the roughness of the deep ocean and its darkness softened when reaching the shore. Kemi creates a sense of calmness, in the endless search for peace, and seeks refuge in its magical aura.

ULYANA ZACHKEVYCH x EWA MATYJA

Peace, simplicity, and earth’s mysteries are evoked in the

Ulyana Zachkevych x Ewa Matyja collaboration.

The Ukrainian-based designer Ulyana Zachkevych imagined a design that embodies the natural forms of an iceberg, gazing upon the arctic landscapes. The minimalistic forms of Kemi were conceptualized to beautifully feature one of the Painting Series created by the Bali-based artist Ewa Matyja.

Kemi Sofa is a reflection of the creative possibilities contained within an artistic exchange between a furniture designer and an abstract artist.
