Hakou A Fruit Bowl

All the poetry, delicacy, and charm of Japanese culture is apparent in Hakou, the line of fruit dishes and knick-knack trays designed by Matteo Fiorini.

A sheet of glass crafted in a thickness of one centimeter, with a shape that recalls a leaf or a boat slightly tilted by the wind, appears to be suspended over a dainty base consisting of a series of metal rods, intersected on the shorter side to form a slender trestle. The sunlight comes through the glass gracefully, creating a play of lights and shadows.

This knick-knack tray is a multipurpose design product; a clever object holder, coffee table centerpiece, or fruit bowl.

Designed by Matteo Fiorini and handmade in Italy.
