Delta Smoked Oak Clock

Inspired by the sundial, Delta Clock tells time with the help of light and shadow. The folds in the surface indicate the passing hours of the day and create different shadowplays when exposed to light.

The clock comes in 3 colors:Natural oak, matte black, and matte white. It can be combined with Delta Stand. 
This smoked oak clock is a limited edition.

Delta Stand is an accessory for Delta Clock which allows you to place your clock on any shelf, desk, or horizontal surface. 

The triangular shape thoughtfully adapts to the design of Delta Clock, serving as both a functional and visual extension rather than just an add-on. 

Delta Stand comes in 2 colors: matte black and matte white. Grip stickers are included for extra stability.

Delta Clock is silent and easily mounts to the wall.

The wood used for this product is locally harvested in Europe. The suppliers only use FSC® certified wood which is sourced from forests that are responsibly managed in the most environmentally sustainable way possible. 

Fuming (smoking) oak is a natural way of darkening it: once exposed to ammonia, the tannins in the oak wood change their color to greyish-brown. The picture above shows the difference between the classic Delta Clock Oak and the version in smoked oak.

Fun fact: Fuming wood was an accidental discovery, made centuries ago in England after it was noticed that oak boards stored in a stable had darkened from exposure to the ammonia fumes from horse urine.
